Space Silver collection celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first Star Wars movie, which brought Lapponia worldwide recognition.
I was privileged to be the photographer behind this iconic series by Lapponia Jewelry. Björn Weckström is the famous jewelry artist and sculptor behind Space Silver collection. All the pieces are Finnish design and jewelry are handmade in Helsinki, Finland. I’m very proud to be part of this new launch worldwide.
The most famous piece from this series is Planetoid Valleys necklace. This beautiful necklace and Darina’s Bracelet became famous in 1977 when it was worn by Princess Leia in the movie Star Wars. Read this interesting story here how these pieces of Finnish design became a part of cult phenomenon.
