During this year I have shared the story of Melancholy Circus many times. I created these three rooms with stories in October 2019, but I had no idea how much the meanings and interpretations of these images have evolved after world went crazy in the beginning of 2020.
Today I’m happy and honored to tell you that Melancholy Circus has won Silver in The Prix de la Photographie, Paris (PX3).
Creating these three rooms, collecting all the items and all the clothing for models, was one of the most exhausting photoshoot experiences I have ever done. I remember crying after shooting the third room. I was so tired and so happy how they turned out. I never thought that I could make something like this. That was my personal victory. Stories behind every image are deeply personal. And I know they have touched also others. Thank you for all who have shared your feelings with me.
I’m deeply grateful to Px3 jury! For giving my project this Silver. For seeing all the time I gave for this project. It means a lot!
